A fundamental process of democracy is elections, where citizens choose their representatives. In elections, political parties present their candidates to the people. To do this successfully, candidates and political parties need to have an effective campaign plan that clearly highlights what the party/candidate will do for the people if they win the election and the candidate's qualifications. The course covers the six steps of political campaigning to plan and manage a successful campaign.
